2025 Victorian Junior Chess Championships
Hobsons Bay CC, in collaboration with Wyndham CC is pleased to host the Chess Victoria State Juniors Championship 2025, scheduled for 17th-20th July 2025 at Bacchus Marsh Grammar Woodlea Campus, AINTREE VIC.
Dates: 17th-20th July 2025 (School Holidays)
Age Categories: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18
Format: 7-round Swiss tournament
Ratings: ACF-rated event for U12 upwards
Sign-In: Arrive from 8:30 AM
Under 8, Under 10, Open and Girls Schedule:
Saturday 19th July 2025 - Sunday 20th July 2025: Start 09:30AM, Finish 3:45PM
Rate: 40 minutes + 10 seconds
Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, Under 18 Open and Girls Schedule:
Thursday 17th July 2025 - Sunday 20th July 2025: Start 09:00AM, Finish 1:30PM
Rate: 75 minutes + 30 seconds
Entry Fee: $80 for early bird (1st July), $100 for late register + Trybooking fee
Byes: No half-point byes allowed; players are expected to play all round
